C-Disk project newsletter: another successful European initiative comes to an end
At the end of the C-Disk project, we would like to share the key achievements, resources and results developed during the project. The initiative, in which 7 partner organizations from 6 countries participated, seeks to promote the development of digital competences among students, workers and managers through innovative tools, training materials and joint efforts. Here is a brief overview of the most important results we achieved together:
C-Disk Self-Assessment Platform
The C-DISK self-assessment platform is one of the leading tools of the project. It is designed to assess digital skills and provides users with personalized feedback that helps them understand their strengths and identify areas for improvement. The platform is accessible to all and is already having a significant impact on improving digital literacy.
Main features:
- Personalized competency feedback: Users can rate their digital skills and receive suggestions for improvement.
- Comprehensive assessment of digital competences: The platform spans technology skills, soft skills and e-leadership, covering a wide range of important areas.
- Available to students and professionals: The platform is designed for both students, workers and managers, offering different learning paths.
The platform is available for free use at https://c-diskills.eu/
Training materials and resources
In addition to the self-assessment platform, the C-DISK project has developed an extensive set of training materials available to all users. These materials are designed to support learners in building basic digital skills and prepare them for today's digitized labor market.
Main aspects of the training materials:
- Interactive and practical learning modules: Cover areas such as e-leadership, soft skills, digital tools and more.
- Personalized learning paths: Individual learning paths based on self-assessment results.
- Updated learning content: Focused on preparing users for real-world applications and digital transformation in various industries.
The materials are available for free use at https://c-diskills.eu/
Final Conference in Milan, Italy
The project organized numerous information events in the partner countries that brought together stakeholders from the VET sector (vocational education and training), industry and politics. These events were key to disseminating project results and promoting their wider use. The most significant of them was the final conference organized in Milan under the title "Evolution of skills in a digital environment: experience from the C-Disk project", which was attended by many representatives of local and regional business, the local government and guests interested in the topic. It discussed topics such as the role of soft skills in a digital context and the strategic role of training specialists and managers, the importance of micro-credits in training and in the context of the project, and others.
A look into the future
Although the project has officially ended, the tools and resources created by C-DISK remain freely available and will continue to support the development of digital competences across Europe and beyond. We encourage all partners, stakeholders and learners to continue exploring and sharing these resources.
Thank you for being a part of the C-DISK journey!
